Do you ship to the country where I live?
We offer worldwide shipping for almost all our tableware products. Shipping fees are calculated based on the destination and the weight of the items in your order. The shipping cost will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase.
If you encounter any difficulties during check-out, or you can not complete your order, please contact us via the contact form.
- Free shipping to Belgium for orders over €100,-
- Free shipping to the Netherlands for orders over €150,-
Are there signs of use?
Sustainability plays a pivotal role in Tafelgeluk and not making something new is part of our green ideas. Our tableware is preloved, which means it is used by previous owners. Each item has a story to tell and we think that makes our collections all the more beautiful.
We carefully curate pieces that have minimal signs of use. But we also choose items especially for their beautiful characteristic and soul. Specific and clear cracks or marks will be clearly indicated in each product description, so you are aware of the condition of the item.

We love sourcing items for you! That’s what we do and we have a keen eye for it 😉 Get in touch with us via the contact form so we’ll have an idea what you’re searching for. Finding thàt missing piece can take some time and might require some patience.

I have vintage tableware that is not being used. Would you be interested to buy it?
We get a lot of requests to buy vintage tableware from you guys 🖤 We are so honored that you think of selling your beloved tableware to Tafelgeluk! It is great that you want your tableware to be used by someone who loves it even more.
However we are very strict about what items we curate for our shop. If you believe you have a hidden gem that fits our style and would be perfect for someone else’s home, please get in touch with us via our contact form or send an e-mail to hello@tafelgeluk.com
If your tableware is not a 100% match for our store, you can try to:
- sell your items in second hand stores and (online) Market Places.
- make a friend or family member happy. Only give it to them if they really like and want it, otherwise the soulful goods are not better off.
- bring it to a thrift store
Can we rent tableware from Tafelgeluk?
By default, we do not rent items. There is no standard catalogue of rentable items. We are currently not hosting events or parties. We might add this concept at a later stage. Visit our website from time to time for updates.
Are you working on a commercial or editorial project? In some cases we‘ll loan for credit, and are always happy to work within your prop budget.

What if my treasure breaks during transportation?
Your items are carefully and securely packaged. Nevertheless, sometimes our precious fragile items break 😢 If this is the case, you will get a refund. What steps to follow and more information can be found in our Shipping & return policy.
Since our collections are handpicked and specifically curated, they are only available to a limited extent. In most cases, we are unable to provide a duplicate item.
At Tafelgeluk we care deeply about the environment, want to make a positive impact and create as little waste as possible. For that reason, items will be packaged using recycled and reused material!
Is my tableware worth something?
It is nice to know whether or not your tableware is worth something.
We are no experts or curators. We select and handpick items that we love and would be a great asset in (y)our interior designs. While forever sourcing for the perfect items that lift up your homes, we learnt a lot on the go about pottery, ceramics, art history, glassware, and we have seen hundred of stamps that tells us a little bit about the item. We recognise a lot of brands and materials, and know about their quality.

You can also check the internet by providing details (colours, materials), stamps and marks to see what Google knows about your home goods. There are tons of Facebook groups who give great feedback about your vintage tableware.
